Results Orientation

We need to be thinking about our most important result. Then ask ourselves if the task
we are working on is of high value or low value in achieving the result. Activities and
tasks we carry out that are of high value are 5-10 times more productive than those of
low value.

The Law of Three

Only three things that we do account for 90% of the value of what we do.
To identify our top three tasks we need to make a list and then ask ourselves:-
“If I could only do one thing on the list, which would be the most valuable?”
Then we ask the same for what would be second and what would be third.

We then have one big high value task/activity and two smaller ones.
The other tasks/activities will be supporting or complimentary.

The big high value task/activity then becomes our Focal Point.

Solution Orientation

Average people talk about blame the top 10% people think about solutions. What can
be done? When we are better at solving problems, we are given higher problems.

A goal unachieved is a problem unsolved. Ask the questions:-

“How?” “What is our next action?”

When we develop the ability to think in terms of solutions, it becomes a habit.
Once this habit is developed we are able to overcome any problems or obstacles.

Action Orientation

We take control, take charge take action. We take the first step. We have a sense of
urgency and we just do it. We have an idea, we take action. The more we act, the
more energy we have, the more positive we are, the more success we experience.
