The Power of Gratitude
The Power of Gratitude
Gratitude is important, because it is a very high positive energy vibration of thought.
Powerfully attractive. If we are grateful about everything we focus on and grateful for
what is good in our lives-that’s what we get more of.
It’s a way of ensuring we are putting the highest possible positive energy on what we
want and withholding energy from what we don’t want.
Focusing on what we do want-not on what we don’t want.
Einstein asked the question
“Is the universe friendly to our desires?”
In other words, is there enough to go round?
Many people believe there is a limited amount of “stuff.” This is known as “scarcity”
or “lack” thinking. Thinking this way makes it hard to be grateful if you believe there
is not enough to go round.
This belief leads to competitive thinking. The idea that to get what they want, they
have to take it from someone else. This belief system encourages fear and worry.
Most sales training is based on this idea
So are all wars!
Everything is made up of the same “stuff.” Science calls it energy.
So how much of this “stuff” is there to make what we need?
A recent scientific survey of the cosmos added up everything they could find and
determined that only about 4% of available “stuff” or energy was used to make the
universe. 96% of “stuff was left over. Enough for 25 more universes!
That’s pretty abundant!
So choose a different way of thinking-see an abundant supply rather than lack.
Choose to create success, rather than compete for a limited supply of it.
When we do this we cease to become a victim of circumstances and begin to reclaim
our own power over our lives.
When we are grateful for what we have in the now-we open the channel for more to
come.
Practice living in the present, being grateful for what you have in this moment.
Make a list of 10 things you are grateful for NOW!
Going back to Einstein’s question “Is the universe friendly to our desires?”
What is your answer and why?
Write it down giving at least three reasons.
